Clothes won’t change the world, but feeling hot enough to take it over might!

Hi, I’m Dirty Versachi.

I’ve always loved fashion. For me, fashion has always been a way to decide who I am before the world gets to decide for me.

As a queer, non-binary person, fashion and makeup have been part of how I created myself. Growing up, I never really felt like I belonged. I often felt like an outsider and I was bullied for being gay / queer before I even had the words to fully understand who I was.

For a lot of queer people, being seen can be complicated. Many of us grow up learning that parts of us are “too much,” too strange, too feminine, too loud, etc, etc or simply unsafe to reveal.

Fashion (for me!) can become a way of undoing that! It can be permission to take up space. Clothes do not erase trauma, but choosing how you present yourself can be one small way of taking ownership back.

These clothes are not here to tell you who to be. They are here to give you something you can make your own. Wear it oversized. Cut it, crop it. Dress it up. Destroy it. Wear it ur way!

My only hope is this, after everything that may have made you feel small, you deserve to feel visible! You deserve to feel powerful!

You deserve to feel really fucking hot!!
